John Andersen is the Director of Forest Policy for Humboldt and Mendocino Redwood Companies.  He is also a Registered Professional Forester working most of his career in the redwood region.  He has been involved for the last five years in legislative advocacy involving forest management and wildfire issues, including policy changes to create wildfire-resilient forests in California.  He is also active in the regulatory arena on forest management topics.
