Focus: Technologies, policies and trends in Atmospheric Carbon Removal (including point source capture) that results in CO2 that needs to be permanently sequestered or turned into valuable products.
Goals:
- Discuss current issues around atmospheric carbon removal (cost, parasitic load, scaling, others)
- Highlight ongoing capture research at Stanford University and elsewhere
- Dialogue between researchers and industry participants
- Discuss marketplace implications and how marketplace can facilitate technologies coming to fruition
- Discuss government role in scaling capture technologies
